Researchers and students in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Stellenbosch 肆客足球 are invited and encouraged to make use of the research and internationalisation mechanisms on offer by the FMHS division for Research and Internationalisation Development and Support (RIDS). The division consists of the focussed offices listed below.


The Research Capacity Development and Funding office develops the research capacity of staff and postgraduate students. The office disseminates research funding opportunities, manages internal research funding, and coordinates the submission of research outputs for subsidy.  Dr Tania Brodovcky manages this office.??

The purpose of the Health Research Ethics Office is to support Stellenbosch 肆客足球 researchers towards compliance in the protection of human participant safety, rights, and welfare in health research. Ms Charmaine Khumalo manages this office.

Tygerberg International promotes exchange; supports international visitors; and facilitates the registration of international colleagues with the HPCSA and the Foreign Workforce Management programme of the national Department of Health. Dr Nyambura Mwagiru leads this portfolio.
