Vision and Mission?
VISION
The Division of Medical Ethics and Law aims to become a division of excellence in research and training in the fields of bioethics and medical law in South Africa.
MISSION
The DMEL serves:
a) as coordinating division to facilitate bioethics and medical law research at the faculty.
b) to facilitate bioethics teaching across health disciplines within the faculty.
c) to encourage capacity development in bioethics.
d) to support and encourage research partnerships and alliances with other entities, both nationally and internationally.
e) to enhance and promote societal awareness of ethical issues.?
