Full lower-bo???dy performance profile

This full lower-body performance profile????? assessment has been developed over years of working in collaboration with elite international athletes and coaches. This profile will give you information regarding lower limb power, reactive strength index and stiffness. This profile gives an in depth analysis of the lower limbs and can be used to track training adaptation. This profile will also give you inform you whether the specific training goals were reached relating to strength, power or stiffness adaptations.
 

What does the test involve?

This is a jump testing assessment that takes place on two force plates, with each foot being on its own force plate allowing for the measurement of the symmetry of force application during the jumps. In this specific assessment includes various different jump tests including:

  1. Countermovement jump
  2. Squat jump
  3. 7 stiffness hops
  4. 5 continuous countermovement jumps
  5. 20 continuous countermovement jumps

During these jumps your force application onto the force plate will be measured. The goal of this jump test is to jump as high as possible during each of these tests.

What will you get?

A compilation of reports is generated from these data. This compilation includes reports for each of the jump types as well as reports indicating comparisons between different jump types such as eccentric utilisation  and stiffness jumps and fatigue index. These reports will give in depth information relating to your lower limb power profile.

If you come for retesting, we will also give you an indication of the comparison between the two testing sessions. Therefore, it is possible to distinguish change over time related to either training adaptation, muscular fatigue, or injury related changes in these results.

How long will it take?

Although these individual tests are very quick to perform, this test session will take some time due to the number of jumps that need to be taken and bearing in mind the fact that you will require rest between jumps. We estimate that it will take one athlete between 10 to 20 minutes to complete this assessment. If you are interested in testing a team of athletes, it is estimated that it will take 10 athletes between an hour to an hour and a half to complete the assessment.

What should you do/bring?

You will need to bring comfortable training clothes and shoes. Furthermore, it is suggested that you do not participate in any strenuous training 24 hours prior to the test, unless the goal of the testing is to determine the muscular fatigue induced by the training session. We also suggest that you complete a warm up session prior to arriving at the lab in order to obtain the maximal performance during this test session.?
