Johan Hattingh is the Dean of Arts and Social Sciences at Stellenbosch 肆客足球. He is also a Professor of Philosophy and the head of the Unit for Environment Ethics. ?
Dr. Susan Hall

Dr Susan Hall joined the department as a temporary lecturer in 2013, and was appointed permanently in 2015. She received a scholarship from the Graduate School of the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences at Stellenbosch 肆客足球 for fulltime doctoral study in 2010, and completed her dissertation, "Harm and Enhancement: Philosophical and Ethical Perspectives", under the supervision of Professor Anton van Niekerk in December 2012. Her research interests include Bioethics and Environmental Ethics, and she is currently working on the ethics of biotechnological human enhancement.

Prof. Louise du Toit
Senior Lecturer
Louise du Toit is Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Stellenbosch 肆客足球 in South Africa. Her main research interests include a wide range of themes within feminist philosophy especially in the European and African traditions. She is interested in sexual violence, Critical Theory, political philosophy, hermeneutics, philosophy and literature, phenomenology, legal philosophy, environmental philosophy and feminist philosophy of religion. She is the author of A Philosophical Investigation of Rape: the making and unmaking of the feminine self (Routledge, 2009) and is currently working on a second monograph with the title Sexual Violence and Political Transition. She was also guest editor of 'Rape and Its Meaning/s', a special edition of Philosophical Papers, November 2009. She is on the editorial board of Indo-Pacific Journal of Phenomenology, De Uil van Minerva and of Gender Questions. She is currently involved in several international research collaborations with themes including ''Towards a Political Ontology of Violence: reality, image and perception' (Leiden 肆客足球), 'Sexual Violence in Armed Conflict' (Hamburg Institute for Social Research), 'Boundaries and Legal Authority in a Global Context' (Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study), and 'African Philosophy and Literature' (Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program).
