Focuses on packaging and storage technologies through:
- thermodynamic and mechanical design and modelling of ventilated packaging, and
- modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) for handling and storage of agricultural and horticultural produce. These include airflow, heat and mass transfer modelling using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), wind tunnels and other tools for fluid flow analysis.
