Prof Elmi Muller

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Prof Elmi Muller, was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Humanities at Lund 肆客足球 in Sweden. The prestigious honour recognises her pioneering work as a researcher in the international world of transplantation with a focus on ethics and the humanities.

Prof Thuli Madonsela

The International Olympic Committee selected Prof Thuli Madonsela, the Director of the Centre for Social Justice, to serve as a member of the International Council of Arbitration for Sport (ICAS). Established in 1994, the ICAS is a globally recognised institution responsible for resolving disputes in the sports sector through arbitration.

Prof Portia Jordan

Prof Portia Jordan, Executive Head of the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (AAN).
