Prof. Peter Mallon, head of the Department of Chemistry and
Polymer Science at SU, says the aim of the bursary fund will be to create a
sustainable source of financial support for one or two deserving students
registered for the BSc Honours (Polymer Science) degree at SU.
The fund has already received contributions from Kansai
Plascon and Safripol since its establishment on 21 August 2015.
