I love both teaching and research. Always a pleasure having intellectual dialogues with my students.
Is there a part of your job that you enjoy most?
Having to do research I am keen on. Helping students and seeing them mature in the field of Financial Risk Management/ Quantitative Finance.
What advice would you give to EMS students and/or future professionals?
Approach your career with rigor and with a competitive mindset. Have a sense of dissatisfaction and never feel arrived at your goals.

I am a family guy! Married to my beautiful wife Hileni Alfeus and with our darling daughter Paulina Alfeus. I like to spend quality time with my family.
