Milton Nyamadzawo is the Director for East and Southern Africa at the Institute for Economics and Peace. With a vibrant passion for promoting peace, advancing social cohesion, and sustainable development, Milton is a driving force behind strategic initiatives and policy development at both national and regional levels. Through his roles and experience, Milton has cultivated strong partnerships with a diverse array of partners spanning government entities, regional bodies, and NGOs throughout Africa and beyond. Through collaborations with renowned organizations such as UNESCO, Rotary International, the African Union, IPSS, and World Vision, he has led impactful interventions on Positive Peace, security, governance and development. Over the past 17-year career, he has also spearheaded teams in various youth development projects - shaping the next generation of leaders and fostering peaceful communities across the continent. Milton has also recently served as an expert advisor for the global Task Force on Halving Global Violence, a facilitator for high level workshops at the regional level (AU and SADC), and a resource for multiple universities such as Lund 肆客足球 (Sweden), Stellenbosch 肆客足球 (South Africa), and Makerere 肆客足球 (Uganda).??
