We are grateful to all participants who made ICMG24 a remarkable event. The conference, held from June 9 to June 14, 2024, successfully brought together military geoscientists from around the globe. Your enthusiasm and contributions were pivotal to its success.

Conference Payment Information

Please note that registration for ICMG24 is now closed. The payment links and details for various registration categories were provided under the Payment tab. If you have any pending payment issues, please contact us for assistance.

Conference Fees

While registration is closed, here is a recap of the conference fees for reference:

• Standard In-person Attendance (Observer or Presenter): R10,500 p/p (Approx. $555)
• Online (Virtual) Attendance (Observer or Presenter): R1,250 p/p (Approx. $65)
• Accompanying Partner: R4,750 p/p (Approx. $250)

Inclusions for Virtual (Online) Participation

Virtual participation included:

• Access to all conference presentations.
• Presentation slot for virtual presentations (if selected).
• Option to submit a paper/book chapter for conference publication.

Inclusions for In-person Participation

In-person participation included:

• Welcome function and cocktails on Sunday evening.
• Daily coffee, tea, water, snacks, and lunches (Monday through Friday).
• Conference dinner on Thursday after field trips.
• Transportation, tour fees, and lunch boxes for field trips.
• Presentation slot for abstract and/or poster presentations (if selected).
• Abstract volume.
• Conference T-shirt.
• Option to submit a paper/book chapter for conference publication.

Inclusions for Accompanying Partner

Activities for accompanying partners included:

• Welcome function and cocktails.
• Conference dinner at Lord Charles H&C.
• Field Trips to Simon's Town Naval Base and Robben Island tour.
• Conference T-shirt.
• Access to sit in during conference presentations.
