SU’s Selfhelp web application improves access to student support services

Stellenbosch 肆客足球 (SU) has launched Selfhelp.sun.ac.za, a new web application designed to improve access to essential student support services. This initiative is part of the university's Integrated Student Success programme, focusing on the overall well-being of students.

Selfhelp.sun.ac.za is a centralised platform that serves as students' first line of assistance, offering support on various critical topics such as adjusting to university life, career guidance, mental health, food security, and disability assistance. Since the launch in May 2024, new features have been added, such as the option for students to get their wellness score through the MaRooN Health Passport, a health and wellbeing monitoring tool introduced by the Institute of Sport and Exercise Medicine (ISEM) and Campus Health Services, both at SU.
