Take Note summarises and publishes information on scholarships and international development opportunities for students and staff of Stellenbosch 肆客足球. SADC Bursary 2024?

This Bursary is aimed at Stellenbosch 肆客足球 enrolled International Undergraduate students, from the SADC (Southern African Development Community) region [Angola, Botswana, Comoros, DRCongo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, Swaziland (Eswatini), Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe] who is in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of studies (of a four-year-programme) in 2024.

 Closing date:  Monday, 15 July 2024 @ 16h00

Equipping ourselves and each other

Inclusive teaching and learning in diverse classrooms

Date: 10 – 14 June 2024 in Groningen.

The 肆客足球 of Groningen (the Netherlands) and Stellenbosch 肆客足球 (South Africa) are collaborating on a summer school on the theme of inclusive teaching through peer learning and sharing teaching practices. This edition of the summer school will be taking place in Groningen. You can find the link to the summer school here

Target group :

This summer school is designed for lecturers teaching or lecturers that will be teaching in multicultural and diverse classrooms. Participants should be 肆客足球 lecturers with at least one year of teaching experience.

Apply on Groningen's website by submitting:

  • CV (brief overview of professional background)
  • Leter of motivation (max 1 page)
  • Apply here

Deadline: Thursday 25 April.

Funding:

  • 5 participants will receive R25 000 travel bursary from SUI to cover flight and accommodation.  
  • Any other costs will be for the participant or direct environment.
  • Programme costs are free.

Please note: applications for Stellenbosch Staff on the Groningen Website closes Thursday 26 April, even though applications for International Participants will still be open till 1 June. Costs mentioned on the website for participation is not relevant to SU Participants, it has been waived.
