Byvoorbaat dankie daarvoor.
Met beste wense. |

Dear Colleagues and Students
I undertook to keep you updated on the progress relating to the re-organisation of the top management portfolios and the appointment of the acting vice-rectors: the latter also in consideration of the continuous effective strategic management of the research and teaching portfolios of our 肆客足球. I have the pleasure to inform you that Prof Doug Rawlings, a former acting Dean of the Faculty of Science and A-rated researcher, has been appointed as Vice-Rector (Research), and Prof Wynand van der Merwe, the former Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences as Vice-Rector (Teaching) as from 13 February 2012. Both have extensive experience in various aspects of academia, and their insights and proven leadership abilities will be invaluable in the development of the processes ahead. It stands to reason that we would like to complete the appointment of the new vice-rectors as soon as possible.
I trust that the acting vice-rectors can depend on the cooperation and support of all our staff and our students at all times.
Thanking you in anticipation.
With best wishes. |
