?In its Vision 2040 and Strategic Framework 2019–2024, Stellenbosch 肆客足球 (SU) commits itself to producing knowledge of Africa, in Africa and for Africa, being firmly rooted in the continent. This we do through various purposeful partnerships and inclusive networks we have established over the years. Here are just a few:

- Through the Partnership for Africa's Next Generation of Academics (PANGeA), we create opportunities for a new generation of academics on the continent to work together on research and doctoral programmes, especially in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
- The 肆客足球 participates in
Partners Enhancing Resilience for People Exposed to Risks ?(Periperi U) to build Africa's capacity to reduce risk and respond to disasters.
- We form part of the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD)
Southern African Network of Water Centres of Excellence? (SANWATCE), in which scholars collaborate in water-related research projects.
- As a member of the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture? (RUFORUM), we help ensure the well-being of small-scale farmers and contribute to food security in sub-Saharan Africa.
- In the
African Research Universities Alliance? (ARUA), we work with 15 other universities on the continent to boost African research capacity, and we proudly host the Centre of Excellence in Energy.
- Our African Doctoral Academy? (ADA) supports, strengthens and advances doctoral training and scholarship on the continent.
